Bike Fit Appointments

  • Bike Fit with Stephanie E April 6, 2020  5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Joule Cycling, 1828 Commercial Way, Sacramento, CA 95818, USA

    The bike fit process is 2.5 to 3 hours which covers:

    1. Anatomical Measurement (Leg, Trunk, and Foot)
    2. Bike Geometry Check (cross-reference and confirm manufacturers geometry) 
    3. Bike Alignment (saddle fore/aft, saddle height, saddle tilt, effective body extension, above horizontal, bar angle and hood height)
    4. Cleat alignment (latitude, longitude, and angle)
    5. Visual analysis (assess pedal stroke and body position while following prescription i.e. I will ask you to pedal at a certain wattage and cadence)
    6. Pedal stroke instruction (instruction on how to pedal according to the fit solution) 

    The following is a list of bike details I need prior to the fit:

    1. Bike brand, model, year and size
    2. Saddle brand and model
    3. Stem length and angle (usually stamped underneath the stem)
    4. Crank length (stamped on the inside of the crank towards the spindle)
    5. Shoe brand, model and size
    6. Pedal brand and model
    7. Several pics of the bike (side profile - both drive and non-drive side)
    8. Your height
    9. Your inseam length
    10. Your age

    Please wear your race/training kit (cycling bibs and jersey) along with your cycling shoes (bring new cleats if current cleats need replacement).
